Our small team offers kind and happy atmosphere – feel like being at home. Our team members are like a family, helping each other everywhere…
Hilkka
… is the latest member and right hand of our manager. Hilkka is our receptionist and assisting you with all matters, helping the team everywhere and she is to be found in the kitchen, especially for baking her delicious fresh farmbread :)
Johnny
Johnny – together with Victor – was one of about 40 workmen that built up the lodge many years ago. He stayed with the lodge and the Gravel Travel business faithfully and as allrounder fitting perfectly into the ‚family’. Caring for the garden and the keeping the pool crystal clear, serving as reliable driver for shuttle trips to the airport or get the shopping from town. He’s the one getting up earliest to prepare a first fresh coffee for you in the morning, well-known for jummy cakes he’s baking with love.
Sarafina
Sarafina is also many years in the team, she is mainly caring for the rooms but cooking is also her passion, where everyone actually has its ‚hobbyhorse’. Sarafina is around for serving dinner and at the bar, so the whole team is there for you all time.
Victor
Victor is our handy workman mainly caring for the lodge building and garden maintenance together with Johnny, as well as assisting in the workshop, but as must be expected – helping in the service, at the bar and kitchen.
Secilia
After a long family break and time off, she's back... Secilia has been running our lodge and the whole team for many years. With her open-minded, cheerful appearance, she always creates a familiar and friendly atmosphere for our guests and all visitors to the lodge...
