Our perfect springboard into Damaraland on our Kaokoveld-, Special- and Classic-Tour is the "White Lady Guesthouse" in Uis - named after the famous rock paintings in the Tsisab Gorge at the nearby Brandberg. The small guesthouse is run by Analene and Karl - the owners - here we are well looked after and fed... and can enjoy an unusual sundowner of a special kind. In the guesthouse a pool invites to swim and relax.

By the way, the "white lady" is most likely a man - but that does not detract from "her" and the fame of the other 2,000 to 4,000 year old Bushman paintings.
